CMA launches public kayak program! Looking for a new way to explore our local marine environment?

Our new Saturday Half Day Kayaking Adventure might just be your ticket. Following the success of our Kayak Summer Camps and Kayak Custom Charters, the aquarium is now offering an exciting new program to anyone interested in immersing themselves in the natural beauty of our Florida waterways. We provide the kayaks, van transportation, and expert guides, so you don’t have to worry about where to go or how to get back. We’ll start the adventure with a short trail walk into our Crystal Beach Preserve Property and check out the native Florida plant life making up this vital wetland habita Kayak Program t. Then it’s out on the kayaks, through the mangrove forests and into the coastal waterways. You’ll experience first-hand the fragile estuary ecosystem as we paddle through spring-fed waters and past a sea bird nesting sanctuary island. Our Environmental Outreach staff will guide the tour and identify dolphins, turtles, rays, shellfish and other wildlife along the way of this aquatic adventure.

$50 per person/ $40 members

No kayaking experience necessary and total trip time is approximately four hours including van transportation time.
